I'm convinced through my studies, relationships, nature and all God has been gracious enough to grant and reveal to me that the true mystery of this life is this; the whole universe we perceive is a temporary stage, a massive theater created by God to prepare me for a real and true eternal destiny. Much of what modern man considers reality is not. Our stage is actually made up of many material props, many of which should lead us to God, but some, are used improperly or misinterpreted and deter us away from Him. Because of the circumstances man allowed himself to get into, the script calls for war, but each of us must choose who's side you fight on, which in turn determines where you spend the real and eternal part of your life. What we are currently involved in is the dress rehearsal.

Background well known but too often taken for granted. He is the Alpha & Omega (first & last); there is nothing before or after Him. He created it all, everything. He loves you, more than anything else on this Earth. He wants nothing more than for you to come and see Him personally (about a job!).

Jesus - God as Man

He showed us the example of how we should act when He came on stage, here on our planet. His messages are our lines. Call on Jesus to not only learn your lines in this life but also to get a part in the everlasting play in the next life. (Just the term God as Man gives me goose bumps, what painter would become a painting to save all paintings from aging, what boatmaker would become a boat to guide all boats to safety? What an awesome God we can know!)

Sound & Lighting/Script/Supporting Role

Specifically mentioned by name in Genesis 1 -2, He is God in the Spirit. After Christ ascended to heaven, the Spirit was given to all the earth to specifically help us with our roles. It's the Spirit that leads you to Christ; call on Jesus and tell Him you're willing to do the work He has cut out for you. The Spirit will then feed you your lines.

This part of the audience loves the story. They are the ones that listen intently, clap and encourage softly ('cause they don't want to miss anything). Some you may know their name: like Michael & Gabriel. Then there are "kinds" of angels like; Cherubim, Seraphim and then there's the rest of the Angels in God's Holy Heaven. All were created by God. All worship Him alone. I'm not going to go into touchy ground here (although I'd love to) but it's safe to say, as far as human contact, that these beings are mostly messengers, encouragers, and our fans. What? That's right, our fans. My understanding of God's word also leads me to believe that these magnificent creatures are watching every move we make. And do you wanna know what makes them stand up and cheer and "tear the house down?" It's when you say YES to Jesus. That's your ticket to join them in the world of the everlasting. It's that simple.

The Saints

Ah finally, at the bottom of the heap, here we are! "What?" Say those that know me. "I know you and you're no Saint." Yes I am. "Oh yea, who says?" God says. See, we've even been misled as to what "sainthood" is. I accept and believe Christ to be; the Creator of all, the Savior who died for me, and the everlasting provider. I acknowledge these things with my mouth and daily I'm learning to live how He wants me to live. (This is what He asks us to do!) So the truly miraculous thing is, as far as God the Father knows, my sin has been paid in full! Period. I'm perfect in the eyes of the Father. Period. This is called grace. This is what gives me freedom from the bondage of a sinful nature. I'm free not to do what sometimes I'd like to do but know I shouldn't do! (See Romans 7:15) But this also gives me the freedom to act out my passion in this life.

Now it's my job, no, it's commanded of me to share with you The Gospel and The Grace I have been granted. The Saints are all who have said YES and given their hearts to Jesus. Again, it's that simple. You too can be a Saint!

The Bible teaches that the physical world we perceive is temporary, a time encased theater filled with props. But they are all God's props; ours to use, ours to learn from and help others with but these are just the play ones, the ones to practice with before we get the real thing. This is difficult concept for some to comprehend, and harder for many to accept but try to look at it from God's perspective. This current world is not truly real in God's terms of real. In God's terms, REAL lasts forever. That means never ending, also known as eternity. Understand, this Earth and everything in it is going to burn. So what is real? What you learn is real, you'll know and be aware forever. Your relationships and true love is real, neither are bound by time or physical properties. The down side is this; if we can't do it right in the dress rehearsal, with the temporary things He's has entrusted to us in the here and now, how the heck could God trust us with the everlasting? Would you really want little Hitlers in heaven? Think about it.
